Formula explanation
Amount received = customer pays + shipping charged - payment fees - selected tax or conversion deductions. Net profit = amount received - product cost - shipping cost - ad cost.
Reverse fee mode estimates the customer charge needed to reach a target received amount. Platform comparison mode applies the same sale inputs across PayPal, Stripe, Etsy, and eBay.
Example calculation
Sample only: if the customer pays 100.00 and you enter a reviewed custom fee amount of 3.20, the estimated amount received before product costs is 96.80.

Custom fee override
Turn on custom fee override when your PayPal account, statement, or official fee page gives you a fee amount you trust. The override replaces unverified platform fee data for the estimate shown in your browser.
If the selected source data has not been manually verified, the result card shows “Fee data requires manual review.” In that case, custom override is the safest way to model a fee you have checked yourself.
